As a typographic study, as well as a reflection on modern design, I created an editorial book about the style of a widely celebrated graphic designer, Nancy Skolos. I emulated her style through photography, shadow, post-production and manipulation of space, communicating the strength and intricacy of her work. Each of the 7 design principles is mentioned along with blurbs of text describing Skolos' treatment of these areas. I used a combination of physical typography in the photographic layouts I created, as well as digitally rendered type brought into each photo in post.
